I’ll have to respond/comment on this more extensively - but basically the embodiment-metaphor camp, originating in part from Lakoff & Johnson’s Metaphors We Live By is being discussed as it pertains to architectural design. There’s much more to it than is covered in this article, but it is great to see this discussion making it as far as the NYTimes (and apparently The New Republic, whose architecture critic penned this piece.)
